CompTIA Network+ 2011 Update:
Effective December 1st, 2011 New Network+ exam (N10-005) is available. The existing CompTIA Network+ exam (N10-004) remains available until August 31, 2012.
CompTIA Network+ certification confirms the knowledge and skills of networking professionals. The certification is vendor neutral, international and validates a technician's ability to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. CompTIA Network+ certification requires one test for completion (N10-004 in English).
Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Network+ candidates have at least nine months of experience in network support or administration or academic training, along with a CompTIA A+ certification.

Length of test: 90 minutes
Passing score: 720 on a scale of 100-900
Recommended experience: CompTIA A+ certification and nine months networking experience
