CompTIA Security+ 2011 Exam Update:
The CompTIA Security+ voucher SY0-201 (2008 Edition) Exam retired on December 31st, 2011.
CompTIA Security+ certification proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, acess control and organizational security. Similar to other CompTIA certifications, Security+ is an international and vendor-neutral certification. CompTIA Security+ certification requires one test for completion (SYO-301 in English).
Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Security+ candidates have at least two years of technical networking experience, with an emphasis on security. The CompTIA Network+ certification is also recommended.
Number of questions: 100
Length of test: 90 minutes
Passing score: 750 on a scale of 100-900
Recommended experience: CompTIA Network+ certification and two years of technical networking experience, with an emphasis on security.
