The CompTIA Security+ voucher SY0-201 (2008 Edition) Exam retired on December 31st, 2011.
Security+ voucher has an expiration date of June 2nd, 2012
CompTIA Security+ certification proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, acess control and organizational security. Similar to other CompTIA certifications, Security+ is an international and vendor-neutral certification. CompTIA Security+ certification requires one test for completion (SY0-201 in English).
Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Security+ candidates have at least two years of technical networking experience, with an emphasis on security. The CompTIA Network+ certification is also recommended.

Passing score: 750 on a scale of 100-900
